Description

Intumescent/Acoustic Downlighter Covers – a lightweight, flexible pre-formed cover designed to reinstate the integrity of fire rated ceilings that are breached when downlighters are fitted.

The downlighter cover can be used in suspended, plasterboard or masonry ceilings and are vented to reduce heat build up in the light fitting.

On exposure to heat from a fire the cover expands to provide a fire resistant seal against the passage of fire into the ceiling void.
