Firestop Profile Fillers are friction fitted in to apertures in buildings, especially the flutes of metal profiles where the cladding passes over a structural section or wall.

 Firestop Strips are used to firestop linear gaps or joins in buildings typically in the following areas – top of masonry wall under soffit, expansion joint in masonry wall, also used in conjunction with profile fillers when extra gap needs filling.

 Availability

 Firestop Profile Fillers and Strips are supplied approx. 5% oversize in height/gap size to ensure a tight fit.

 Health and Safety

We recommend that dust masks, gloves and eye protection be worn while handling or cutting the products as the dust produced is an irritant. (Separate Health & Safety sheet available on mineral fibre).

Do not ingest, avoid contact with eyes, and keep out of reach of children. Normal good industrial and personal hygiene practises should be observed.
